Junior Golf Performance
Performance on the course starts with how the body develops.
At Pivotal Stone Performance, Junior Golf Performance is designed for junior golfers who want more distance, better consistency, and confident performance—without chasing swing tips or quick fixes.
We build the physical foundation that helps junior golfers move efficiently, produce power, and stay durable through training, tournaments, and long seasons.
This is not golf instruction.
This is performance coaching for golf.
Built for Junior Golfers Serious About Performance
PSP Junior Golf Performance is designed for athletes and families who value structure, accountability, and long-term development—not quick fixes.
Junior golfers ages 14–18 (high school focus)
Athletes who want more power without sacrificing control
Players seeking consistency under pressure
Golfers who need durability through practice and tournaments
Families who value structure, coaching, and long-term development
Our Approach: Performance-Driven Development for Competitive Junior Golfers
As a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Coach, Pivotal Stone Performance applies a structured, performance-driven approach to junior golf development. Rather than focusing on swing mechanics, we evaluate how a junior golfer’s body develops, moves, and produces force over time.
We assess how the athlete’s body:
Moves
Loads
Stabilizes
Rotates
Produces force
Using TPI-based screening, we identify physical limitations that may impact:
Power development
Swing consistency
Balance and sequencing
Injury risk and long-term durability
From there, we design a structured training plan that builds the physical capacity junior golfers need to perform efficiently, stay healthy, and develop confidence through practice, training, and competition — without coaching swing mechanics.
What We Develop
Physical Foundations
Strength and power development
Mobility and stability for rotation
Balance, sequencing, and force transfer
Injury risk reduction and durability
Competitive Performance
Confidence through preparation
Focus and composure under pressure
Consistency and accountability
Habits that translate to tournament play
Why This Approach Works for Golf Performance
Research consistently shows that physically capable young athletes demonstrate improved:
Coordination and motor control
Stress tolerance and focus
Consistency under pressure
Long-term joint and tissue health
For junior golfers, this translates into better efficiency, fewer compensations, and more reliable performance—without overthinking mechanics.
At PSP, we build the physical foundation that allows a junior golfer’s swing to express itself more freely, powerfully, and consistently under real playing conditions.
What This Is — And What It Is Not
This IS:
Performance coaching for golf
Physical training to support distance and consistency
TPI-informed screening and progression
A structured long-term development approach
This is NOT:
Golf lessons
Swing coaching
Mechanical instruction
Quick-fix training
The Coaching Process
Junior Golf Performance is delivered through a structured coaching model designed to build confidence, strength, and durable performance over time. Enrollment is application-based to ensure fit, expectations, and appropriate placement.
Step 1 — Apply
Complete a short application so we understand the athlete’s background, goals, and readiness.
Step 2 — Performance & Movement Assessment
We assess strength, mobility, stability, and patterns that influence golf performance and durability. TPI-based screening may be incorporated as appropriate.
Step 3 — Build the Plan
The athlete receives a structured development plan aligned to training needs and season demands.
Step 4 — Train & Transfer
Sessions are coached in small micro-groups. Optional range transfer sessions focus on applying physical improvements to performance routines—without coaching swing mechanics.
Training follows a fixed schedule. Missed sessions are not made up.
