Program Overview & Philosophy

  • Performance Training is a structured, coach-led performance development program for youth athletes focused on strength, movement quality, durability, and long-term athletic progression.

  • Performance Training is designed for committed youth athletes (typically ages 14–18) who can train consistently within a structured group environment.

  • No. Performance Training develops general athletic qualities that transfer across sports. Sport-specific skills should be trained separately with a sport coach.

  • Performance Training operates as a development system, not drop-in workouts. Athletes train within assigned groups, follow progressive programming, and are coached with long-term outcomes in mind.

Scheduling & Attendance

  • Performance Training includes two (2) scheduled training sessions per week within an assigned group.

  • Two high-quality sessions per week provide the optimal balance of stimulus, recovery, and consistency for youth athletes.

  • No. Athletes train only within their assigned group and schedule.

  • Missed sessions for any reason cannot be made up or credited.

  • Performance Training is a monthly membership that reserves an athlete’s place in a training group. It is not an attendance-based or per-session program.

  • Missed sessions reduce training exposure and progression. Frequent absences may indicate that a different training option may be more appropriate.

  • Performance Training is designed for athletes who can prioritize consistent training. Busy schedules are understood, but consistency is required for meaningful progress.

Membership, Billing & Holds

  • Performance Training operates on a monthly membership with automatic billing.

  • Yes. Limited membership holds are available for extended absences of two (2) consecutive weeks or more, with advance notice.

  • Extended travel, seasonal breaks, or medical-related absences may qualify. Routine conflicts do not.

  • No. Absences of one week or less are not eligible for holds.

  • Holds are limited to a maximum of one billing cycle per calendar year, unless otherwise approved.

  • No. Holds must be requested in advance.

  • No. Holds pause billing but do not generate refunds or credits for past missed sessions.

Coach Availability & Schedule Changes

  • Planned coach absences are communicated in advance and reflected in the training calendar. Short-term illness may result in session cancellation when necessary.

  • No. Performance Training is a monthly membership, not a session-for-session exchange.

  • Issuing credits would turn the program into an attendance-based model and undermine program sustainability.

  • Full-week cancellations are rare and handled intentionally. The schedule may be adjusted or training may resume as planned the following week at the coach’s discretion.

  • Coach absences do not qualify for membership holds unless they meet the standard hold criteria.

Private Performance Coaching

  • Private Performance Coaching is individualized 1:1 performance coaching offered on an hourly basis for athletes, adults, and golfers.

  • Private coaching is best for athletes or adults who require flexible scheduling, individualized attention, or specialized support.

  • Private coaching is not better — it is different. Performance Training is the primary option for most youth athletes.

  • Private coaching is billed per session at established hourly rates.

  • An evaluation may be required prior to ongoing private sessions.

Expectations & Program Standards

  • Athletes are expected to arrive on time, follow coaching instructions, train with focus, and attend consistently.

  • Parents are expected to support consistent attendance, respect group placement decisions, and allow the coaching process to work.

  • Yes. Pivotal Stone Performance reserves the right to adjust group placement or participation if it is in the best interest of the athlete or the program.

General Policies & Clarifications

  • Performance Training is not offered as drop-in or trial sessions. All athletes complete an evaluation prior to placement.

  • There is no fixed duration. Performance development is long-term and individualized.

  • If consistent attendance becomes difficult, private performance coaching or a temporary pause may be more appropriate.

  • Pivotal Stone Performance operates as a structured, coach-led training program. Membership reflects participation in a development system, not guaranteed session totals or attendance-based services.
